The Hackney Society and Hackney History’s new book ‘Women from Hackney’ highlights over one hundred women linked to the Borough.
In this tour, one of the contributors to the book will talk about the musicians, the entrepreneurs behind a theatre and a music club, the music hall stars – and a couple of very different women who link Spitalfields and Hackney.
This 75 minute virtual tour will be brought to you by East London on Foot, a group of guides with a shared passion for London’s vibrant, ever changing East End. The tour will be hosted by Sue Doe.
