Inspired by street sellers of the capital’s old markets, Berio’s hauntingly beautiful Cries of London is like listening to the echoes of vendors’ voices rebounding off ancient city walls.

Alongside this, discover a new generation of choral composers with the Carice Singers performing London premieres of works written by Alexander Papp, Mary Offer, Robert Crehan, Effy Efthymiou, Alice Beckwith, and Aníbal Vidal. Representing the latest chapter of our long-standing relationship with Cheltenham Music Festival’s Composers’ Academy, these varied works showcase some of the greatest composing talents emerging in the UK today.
