Spitalfields Music’s relationships with local schools have been built across decades. We take great pride in being part of the lives of generations of children and families past, present and future.
Our Neighbourhood Schools programme builds partnerships with schools in our home borough of Tower Hamlets and beyond, collaborating with teachers to plan workshops and projects that support creative pathways, tailored to school strategic objectives, PSHE themes, and cross-curricular links.
The Neighbourhood Schools project is generously supported by The SHM Foundation, The Victoria Wood Foundation, The Derek Shuttleworth Educational Trust, The Henry Oldfield Trust, Three Monkies Trust and the generosity of a number of individual donors.
