How can we deliver effective creative music sessions to whole class groups? Suitable for experienced music tutors or leaders, and those joining the profession, the day will equip you with ideas and approaches to working with mixed ability class groups in a way that incorporates the curriculum with other creative outcomes, including creative composition.
Delivered in partnership with Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service (THAMES), led by James Redwood joined by Raph Clarkson as Guest Leader, participants will also have the opportunity to meet THAMES managers and understand what skills and experience a music hub is looking for in their team members working in schools.
If you have any access requirements, and/or need financial assistance to cover the cost of access requirements, please contact us.
Support for care commitments
We can offer some assistance for care commitments such as childcare, which might otherwise affect your ability to take part. To enquire please email us.
Skills Lab Academy is generously supported by HM Government’s Culture Recovery Fund, The Scops Arts Trust, and The Thistle Trust
This year’s Skills Labs workshops will all be held in-person (in line with current government guidelines). However, as we want to ensure that our workshops are accessible to all who wish to take part, please get in touch to let us know if attending in person isn’t preferable or possible for you, so we can discuss alternative options.
