Shabaka Hutchings New work
Taking inspiration from sounds he’s collected around Spitalfields, Associate Artist, composer and saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings crafts a new piece of music for his band The Comet is Coming and guest artist Jason Singh. Finding music in the sounds of our environment, he subverts the traditional ideas of how we give meaning to sound.
Following the performance, previous Associate Artist Micachu (Mica Levi) rounds off the night with her own DJ set.
