In Spitalfields Re-Sounded, Associate Artist Shabaka Hutchings presents a new piece of music crafted from sounds collected through his year-long East London sound archive project collecting everyday sounds from Spitalfields.
In this tour he offers you the chance to hear elements from this piece re-imagined for saxophone and tuba while visiting the places in which the sounds were found.
Part performance, part walking tour, and full of insight and ingenuity.
This event is an outdoor walking tour. The tour departs from Bishopsgate Institute and visits outdoor spaces around the Spitalfields area.
