An interactive opera especially for babies and toddlers aged 0 — 2½ years

Before words and music were sounds, which blossomed into beautiful patterns and sang the world into being. Inspired by the Australian Lyrebird – a bird that can mimic any sound and make it into song – Spitalfields Music presents an enchanting new production created by the team behind the award-winning Musical Rumpus series, Zoë Palmer, Sam Glazer and Sophia Lovell-Smith.

As the story unfolds in a space full of sounds and colours, you and your baby can freely explore and make music together.

“The music is wonderful… the performance is perfect for little ones.” Audience member

Approximate duration: 50 minutes, including 15 minutes interactive play at the end of the show. Buggy parking is available at Rich Mix.

Supported by Arts Council England, Dunard Fund, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation Paul Hamlyn Foundation
