Immerse yourself in a free creative family music and mindfulness workshop in the Crossrail Place Roof Garden!

Get ready to set off on a calming creative journey together with your little ones. Together with percussionist Rosie Bergonzi and mindfulness practitioner Martha Wright, you will create characters and use music and song to explore your feelings and emotions. Relax, reconnect and get inspired to be creative and present every day.

Workshops are free and no booking is required – just bring along your picnic mat and find a spot to settle down! We will run three sessions to suit families with children of different ages:

Workshop 1 – 10.30-11.00 – for families with babies (0-12 months)

Workshop 2 – 11.45-12.15 – for families with toddlers (1-3 years)

Workshop 3 – 13.00-13.30 – for families with pre-schoolers (3-5 years)

Presented with the support of Canary Wharf Group as part of their Summer Family Festival.

We’ve been working with our wonderful friend from Thoroughly Good, Jon Jacob, on a series of podcasts for you to listen to pre (or post!) our events. We hope you enjoy listening!

Episode 1: What’s in the Spitalfields Festival 2021

Jon Jacob speaks to composers Errollyn Wallen, Edmund Finnis, Howard Goodall, and David Fennessey about their new works, including a tribute to those carers who lost their lives in the first wave of the COVID pandemic.
