Lunchtime Classicals with City of London Sinfonia

Wednesday 16th September , 12-2pm (2020)

Jubilee Park, Canary Wharf, Bank Street, London E14 5PJ

Free outdoor performance

Add a classical twist to your Wednesday lunchtimes. From August and throughout September, Spitalfields Music in partnership with The Canary Wharf Group, presents to you music from City of London Sinfonia.

Set in Jubilee Park, Canary Wharf, this series of free, pop-up gigs will be happening every Wednesday from 12-2pm, until 30th September. Jubilee Park is located just above Jubilee Place, so grab a bite to eat from one of their stores and head to the park for a picnic with a performance.

The fourth of our Lunchtime Classicals, on Wednesday 16th September (12-2pm) will feature a Wind Quintet, comprised of Karen Jones playing the flute, Dan Bates playing the oboe, Katherine Spender on the clarinet, Jonathan Davies on the bassoon and Stephen Stirling playing the French horn.

Please note that whilst we aim to go ahead whatever the weather, the event will be cancelled in adverse conditions.

Space is available on a first come, first served basis. If audience capacity is reached, the space may need to be closed off so that it remains safe.
