Celebrated French baroque ensemble Le Concert Spirituel comes to Spitalfields for the first time, bringing a programme exploring the musical world of the early 18th century to Hawksmoor’s stunning Christ Church Spitalfields.
Featuring music by some of the most renowned composers of the time, they contrast intimate works by Purcell and lively concertos by Corelli and JS Bach, bringing to light the nuances of ‘national’ musical styles in the baroque era.
