Tonight we shine a spotlight on female songwriters from across the musical spectrum; those who have written some of the most famous jazz standards, the triple Tony-nominated composer who has been largely forgotten, and never-before-heard songs by performer Anna Pool about the experiences of female-identifying truck drivers, in Mother Trucker. We’ll also hear numbers drawing inspiration from topics as varied as pregnancy to protest songs to… penguins. Intrigued? Grab a drink from the bar and join us!

Anna Pool    Singer
Amy J Payne    Singer
Erika Gundesen    Piano
