New Young Voice Collective
The New Young Voice Collective (NewYVC) is our open access vocal group for young people ages 11-19, designed to empower young people with confidence and creative skills. The group meets every Tuesday at Spotlight Youth Centre. NewYVC runs on a model of collective leadership, with training opportunities from day one. Members get the chance to join the Young Artist scheme, which provides one-to-one support, conducting courses, music exams, performance opportunities, and support into higher education.

Music Leadership
Our Music Leadership programmes sustain the sector, providing skills development and empowering musicians to innovate in their communities. Our Trainee Music Leader scheme offers musicians the opportunity to build skills through hands-on experience, training, and mentorship from sector professionals. Throughout the year our Skills Lab sessions bring together leaders to explore new concepts and develop techniques for working in a diverse set of contexts.

Trainee Trustees
We’re committed to equipping individuals with the tools they need to play a role in shaping the future of the industry. Each year, we welcome a group of Trainee Trustees who gain experience in governance by participating in board meetings, attending training sessions and receiving mentorship. Through this initiative, both our organisation and the wider arts sector benefit from the inclusion of more diverse perspectives and experiences.
