Aberdeen is a new collaboration between cellist Sonia Cromarty and composer David Fennessy. Weaving together live cello, electric guitar and electronics with found sounds, Aberdeen explores personal memories, objects, and family ties.

This intimate late-night performance has been developed with Edinburgh-based theatre company Magnetic North and will take place in the up-close elegance of Hanbury Hall.

Commissioned for Spitalfields Music and sound, in partnership with the Royal Philharmonic Society through the generous support of an anonymous donor.
