Song Club is for everyone who has ever written a song, or would like to.

From Schubert to Stevie Wonder; Bessie Smith to Stormzy. From a lullaby to a psalm; from a plainchant to a sea shanty – songs are at the centre of human expression.

Song Club is for everyone who has ever written a song, or would like to. Modelled on the ethos of the much-loved Errollyn Wallen Song Club, this is an informal and joyful event for anyone to share original songs. You are invited to bring along your own song which you sing yourself – a Spitalfields associate musician can provide accompaniment.

Just want to come and hear Song Club? A limited number of audience tickets are available. Song Club is led by Festival Curator Errollyn Wallen, with Katie Melua.

There will be an electric piano available, please bring any other instrument you require (max two instruments).

Supported by the Spitalfields Music Trainee Music Leaders and musicians from our SkillsLab programme.
