Sing Together was a new project working with a nursery classes at Osmani Primary School and reception at Shapla Primary School to connect parents and children through music.
Working with nursery and reception children, parents and teaching staff in both schools, children were given the opportunity to develop their language and social skills through musical play, as well as encouraged to enjoy the pleasure of singing. Parents were also supported in engaging with their children through song in both separate and joint sessions with their child.
This project included six workshops and enabled teachers and parents to continue to explore music at home and school.
