Prisma Interius IV

Catherine Lamb, Rebecca Lane, and Bryan Eubanks

Postponed, new date TBA

Hanbury Hall

Catherine Lamb’s music takes a deep dive into the physical matter of sound, exploring subtle interactions in harmonic space.

PRICE: £15

Catherine Lamb’s music takes a deep dive into the physical matter of sound, exploring subtle interactions in harmonic space.

Her Prisma Interius series imagines rotating prismatic shapes, gradually illuminated to the listener through the proliferation of forward motion (melodicism) blurring into myriad spectra. This performance features the Secondary Rainbow Synthesizer, a software-based subtractive synthesizer which filters live environmental sounds from outside the performance space, functioning as a perceptual bridge by folding these sounds into the expanding tonal field of the music.

Prisma Interius IV is a concentration as well as an expansion of the other pieces in the series, developed for this trio over many repetitions.

Catherine Lamb Viola, voice
Rebecca Lane Microtonal Bass Flute, voice
Bryan Eubanks Secondary Rainbow Synthesizer, voice
