Welcome to Spitalfields Festival: At Home.

This December we are delighted to be bringing an eclectic range of music to you at home.

We’ve put together a day of events, including a re-imagined Black music and history walking tour, with exclusive performances by Chineke! Junior Orchestra – fresh from their Britain’s Got Talent success – alongside author and historian S.I.Martin. We’re also excited to present eight world premieres from female composers; a very special performance of Baroque masterworks by Dunedin Consort; and an informal late-night Song Club, featuring composer Errollyn Wallen, singer-songwriter Katie Melua, and friends.

We are so sorry to not be seeing you in person this year, but the coronavirus has had other plans for us all. We know from speaking to many of you that music has assumed an ever-greater importance during this pandemic. Our hope with this online edition of our festival is to bring a little light, hope and joy into your homes.

We cannot wait to share the music with you once again.

Programme correct at the time of tickets going on sale. We reserve the right to change the programme should Government restrictions on movement prevent any recordings taking place.

Please note: purchase of a £15 ticket will grant you access to the full festival programme (from 3pm-10pm). To find out more about individual events within the programme, please see related events, linked below.
